Characteristics Of The Time Of Ignorance

These are characteristics which were currect amongs the people of the Time of Ignorance.
Every Muslim must be aware of them for,
“Opposites elicit the beauty of a thing
Through opposites are matters clarified”
Characteristics
“They would associate the righteous while supplicating wanting them to intercede on their behalf”
“They were divided and split”
“Opposing the leader was regarded to be a noble quality”
“They were deceived by the majority and that it was proof that something was correct”
“They thought that the weak and poor followed something false”
“They thought that the rich and powerful followed something correct”
“They adduced proofs with invalid analogy”
“They took the religion as play”
“They knowingly distorted the Book of Allah”
“They would reject the truth if it was to be found with people they did not want to have it”
“They had the trait of false, wishful thinking and holding vain hopes”
“They took the graves of their Prophets as masjids”
“They would place lamps around graves”
“They would seek rain through stars”
“They would belittle another’s lineage”
“They would look down on the poor”
Allah knows best.
